Sam is a recognized leader in biosimulation, decision systems, and pharmaceutical strategy. He was a partner at Strategic Decisions Group (SDG), focusing on the pharmaceutical industry. He was a founder, first CEO and chairman of Entelos, the world’s in silico biosimulation leader. He is also a founder, CEO and chairman of Rosa Pharmaceuticals, a leader in strategic decision and biosimulation consulting to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Sam teaches several decision analysis and decision systems courses at Stanford University.

Graham has a wealth of experience applying decision analysis to strategic decision problems in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, oil & gas, defence and infrastructure industries. In the 1990s he developed for Strategic Decisions Group (SDG) the portfolio management methodology that is now standard across the pharmaceutical industry. He continues to push forward the art of decision analysis in his current role as VP of Rosa Pharmaceuticals, working with many of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies designing strategies, implementing decision systems and processes, and training and mentoring teams to support strategic decision-making.
